Series Update: Completed, To Be Read and DNF'ed

Hello, everyone! I know things are pretty hectic with my posting schedule, but I have an excuse. My life is falling apart. I am dramatic, and somehow I am not dramatic enough. Here's the story: we moved to Viena because my husband was promised a job. Everyone at the company was aware that my husband's German is horrible, but they said it is fine. When he had the interview they changed their tune and said that they can't hire him without knowing the language.

Now, I am not stupid. I know you have to know the language of the country you live in, that's why we even got a professor. But what annoys me is the fact that they were OK with this one minute, and then they were not. There were some promises made. We have a baby and rent to pay. We are both very rational people, we wouldn't have taken this decision if we wouldn't have been sure about the outcome. But no, it turns out we were fools. Here`s hoping something else (and better) will come along.
Book Series

Anyway, now that you know what`s going on, let`s talk about some book series. As you`ll see from this post, I`m not the best when it comes to finishing them. In most cases, I read the first book, I love it, and then completely forget to read the rest. I also rarely DNF series, cause I always hope that they`ll get better. The only exception is when I absolutely hate the first book.

  • Harry Potter
  • "Six of Crows" and "The Grisha Trilogy" by Leigh Bardugo

  • "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins
  • "To All The Boys I`ve Loved Before" by Jenny Han

  • "Caraval" by Stephanie Garber
  • "The Maze Runner" by James Dashner
  • "Girl Online" bu Zoe Sugg
  • "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer

Obviously, this is an ever-changing list, but I do want to finish most of the series I said I`ll finish. I haven`t kept up with new releases, so new titles might make a new list. Also, I`m on a buying ban, so my reading mostly depends on what`s available on Scribd. Not that I don`t have so many unread books on my shelves, but oh well.
